1.5m Tube Duo-Limb Medical Bain Breathing Circuit Anesthesia Breathing Bain Circuit

We supply a wide range of surgical disposable specially for respiratory and anesthesia usage like tracheal tube cuff, intubating stylet, pressure monitoring line, shiley tracheostomy tube, bivona tracheostomy tube, Adult & pediatric nebulizer mask, catheter mount tubing, flexible catheter mount, disposable nasal oxygen cannula, Ventilator Breathing circuits / systems, anesthesia breathing systems which include basic disposable products to high-end disposable sterile products.

All our products are designed to meet the entire requirements of health care centers, hospitals, nursing homes and medical clinics. Available in various specifications, all these products are made as per international quality standards.

1. Bain Breathing Circuit: The term "Bain Circuit" refers to a specific type of breathing circuit commonly used in anesthesia. It is a mapleson breathing system that allows for the delivery of anesthetic gases to the patient and removal of exhaled gases.

2. Duo-Limb Design: A duo-limb breathing circuit has two separate limbs or tubes, one for delivering fresh gases to the patient (inspiratory limb) and another for carrying the exhaled gases away from the patient (expiratory limb). This design helps prevent rebreathing of carbon dioxide.

3. Length: The "1.5m Tube" specification indicates the length of the breathing circuit. In this case, it's a 1.5-meter circuit.

4. Anesthesia Administration: The breathing circuit is a crucial component in the delivery of anesthesia during surgical procedures. It ensures a continuous supply of fresh gases to the patient while efficiently removing exhaled gases.

5. Connections: The circuit is typically equipped with standard connectors to link with the anesthesia machine, breathing system components, and the patient's endotracheal tube or mask.

6. Disposable or Reusable: Breathing circuits can be either disposable or reusable, depending on the design and intended use. Disposable circuits are often preferred for infection control and convenience.

7. Safety Features: Modern breathing circuits may include safety features such as one-way valves, pressure relief valves, and filters to enhance patient safety and the efficiency of gas exchange.

What are breathing circuits used for?
Breathing circuit classification
The function of any breathing circuit is to deliver oxygen and anesthetic gases, and eliminate carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide may be eliminated by either washout with adequate fresh gas flow (FGF), or by soda lime absorption.

What are the different types of breathing circuits?
The Mapleson systems are the breathing circuits, also known as flow controlled breathing systems or carbon dioxide washout circuits because they depend upon fresh gas flow for washing out CO2. Mapleson systems are classified into five basic types as Mapleson A, B, C, D, E. Later Mapleson F was also added.

Are breathing circuits sterile?
New designs can be sterilized. While not required in the United States, parts of the European Community require that breathing circuit components be sterilized between patients. One significant point to consider is that absorbers require daily service and therefore have greater potential for problems such as leaks.
